Advanced beer enthusiasts will be able to play these sports during their lunch break. Thank us later, after you’ve read the list.

We know without a doubt that, being the responsible adult you are you’ll drink and act responsibly when playing each sport on this list:

  2. Kickball
  3. Indoor Kart Racing
  4. Cornhole
  5. Darts

Golf

It has everything you could possibly want when you’re putting back a few cold ones- your friends, time away from your ball and chain, large open spaces where you can’t easily hurt yourself (challenge accepted?), soft grass to pad your landing if you fall down, golf carts to race your friends in, tiny balls that you can hit as hard as you can, and literally zero rules.

Okay, not all of that list is completely acceptable, or even true. However, it’s also not far from reality. I’ve seen some crazy videos online filled with all sorts of drunken shenanigans on golf courses.

If you want to get better at golf so you can drink beer and have fun then learn golf from the best online coach. That way you can have a blast, and also impress your friends.

Kickball

kickball and beer sloshballHave you ever heard of Sloshball? If you haven’t now you have, and now that you have you can celebrate. Sloshball is an upgraded version of kickball that has kegs of beer, red cups, and a variety of rules that are based around drinking beer and having an epic time.

The whole premise is that each player (offense or defense) has to have a red cup of beer in their hands at any given time. That’s right, even while kicking. On top of that, if you’re on the offense you can’t pass certain bases until you’ve finished your beer. Some variations of the game have a keg at second base and a keg at home plate so you can refill your beer no matter where you are on the field.

Next time you have a family outing, drop the boring get-together and have a fun game of Sloshball- sure to be enjoyed by the whole crew.

Indoor Kart Racing

indoor kart racingI’m going to be honest- I wasn’t sure that I should put this one on the list. So, before I continue, I will tell you that I don’t condone drinking and driving, and urge you to follow your local laws. Some indoor kart racing companies won’t let you have a single drop of beer if you plan to race, others will let you have one or two. Where the company is located can change these rules based on insurance agreements, company policies, and local laws. Follow the rules.

Now that that’s out of the way: kart racing! There are kart racing arenas in Europe that allow for you to drink beer and then go race your friends! I’ve experienced this joyous tipsy sporting event and have to say it was one of the best moments in my life. Driving around at seemingly ridiculous speeds while after having a few brews is hellish amounts of fun.

Just be careful and don’t drink too much- despite it being a good time, operators keep a careful eye out on who’s had what to drink and they will pull you from a race if you’re too intoxicated.

Cornhole

Cornhole is a staple game to play during any tailgating event or backyard celebration. There are also loads of bars that have cornhole for their patrons. The rules are simple: take a bean bag and toss it over through some holes in a board across from you. Different holes are worth different amounts of points, and the more points you score the better.

Lots of people have fun playing this game sober, but I will tell you from experience that it becomes way more fun when you’re drinking beer. I find that my form actually becomes better after a few beers. I think this is because I become less tense, and I just let the weight of the bean bag carry through my toss. Just be careful not to have too much to drink, or your aim may get a bit sloppy. If that happens, who cares, it’s just cornhole!

Darts

darts and beerDarts is a game that took me a while to appreciate. I always saw the dartboard in the corner of the bar, however, I didn’t play it until recently because I thought it was made for weird guys to play by themselves in their basement.

Turns out, I was wrong. Darts is a fun sport that is both social and individually challenging. My friend Izzy got me into it and now I can’t get enough. There’s something really relaxing about focusing and then tossing a sharp object into a board. Sure, getting good can take some time, but like all things practice makes perfect. Plus, darts is pretty cheap to play in most places so it’s a great way to kill time, make good conversations, and have fun at your local pub.

Billiards

billiards and beerBilliards is one of those games where I’ve played while drinking beer more than I’ve played while sober. A key reason for that is because I don’t have a billiards table at my house and am always at a bar when I play, but I’m not complaining.

I love playing billiards with friends, but I especially like playing when on a date. Nothing says sexy like a beautiful woman playing a game of stick and balls with you over a pitcher of cold beer.

I highly recommend practicing billiards a fair bit. Whether for work or play, pretty much everyone will have a situation where they have to play billiards in their life. If you are a good player, everyone around you will be really impressed and you’ll undoubtedly gain some kudo points.
